With a small yet mighty core team and investments from the likes of First Round Capital, they managed to build a world-class app consumer experience with a 60% flat retention rate; a rare feat in the ever-so-crowded AI app market.
When I spoke to their founder, their challenge was to ramp up user acquisition amidst a crowded AI app market and build momentum ahead of a new fundraising round.
They had a bad experience with previous performance marketing agencies and were looking for someone who could work more as a part of their team and across multiple marketing verticals.

Scope
During my collaboration with Recast AI, I worked closely with the founding team to enhance their brand visibility, streamline user acquisition strategies, and establish a strong presence in the competitive AI tools market. This engagement focused on leveraging Product Hunt, user-generated content (UGC), and programmatic SEO to drive scalable growth.
Month 1-2: Product Hunt launch Preparation
Designed and executed a comprehensive Product Hunt launch campaign to boost brand awareness and user acquisition.
Partnered with Ryan Hoover, Founder of Product Hunt, as a Top Hunter to maximize visibility and credibility for the launch.
Month 3-4: TikTok UGC and SEO
Developed and scaled a robust user-generated content (UGC) program across TikTok, X (formerly Twitter), and Instagram to acquire new users organically.
Established a presence for Recast on key AI tools directories, driving SEO reach, visibility and credibility within the AI tools ecosystem.
Devised a programmatic SEO strategy to automate and scale organic user acquisition by targeting relevant keywords and long-tail queries.
This collaboration resulted in a successful Product Hunt launch, a significant boost in user acquisition through UGC and SEO, and a strengthened market position for Recast AI in the competitive AI tools landscape.
