Hi, I'm Matteo
Over the last decade, I had the pleasure of serving 35+ startups — from pre-seed to IPO stage — across B2B, consumer, Web3, and AI.
I've been a founding marketer multiple times, setting up marketing functions from the ground up in teams large (Fiverr), small (Qatalog), and hypergrowth (On Deck).
Since 2022, I run a startup growth studio called Genesys where I help founders and VPs:
Devising their GTM strategies, growth models, and execution plans
Setting up or scaling GTM workstreams and related stack
Coaching teams to level up their skills and operations
Every month I publish new playbooks in the HyperGrowth Partners newsletter — co-authoring growth playbooks together with leaders from Vercel, Segment, Shopify, Atlassian, and more.
More about myself
I was born and raised in Rome. Then, in my 20s I've lived in Milan, Sydney, and Madrid for my studies.
After my Econ and Business studies, I've landed in London where I started working in tech.
When not at work, you can find me keeping my Duolingo streak alive — I've been studying Japanese for 700+ days — meditating, or raving on the latest Afterlife techno EP.
Also, I geek out on biohacking, psychology, and personal growth, and Japanese culture.
