Alchemist Accelerator is a San Francisco based premier startup accelerator supporting B2B startup founders with seed investments, mentorship, and networking programs with the corporate environment.
Over 600 companies have passed through Alchemist’s cohorts, collectively raising more than $2.4B in follow-on funding from top-tier investors. Their mission is to transform how B2B ideas become market-shaping companies by providing a rigorous, founder-centric curriculum.
Differentiating from competitors like Y Combinator and Techstars, Alchemist’s primary audience is deeply technical teams building enterprise-grade solutions. Through a unique mix of enterprise partnerships, hands-on mentoring, and access to a robust investor network, Alchemist delivers a specialized experience that accelerates revenue-focused outcomes.
When their General Partner Ian reached out, they sought a product marketing specialist to build the go-to-market and launch for their whole-new corporate innovation offering. This push was vital to add a new multi-million dollar business division to the business, adding the next leg up of growth for Alchemist — helping corporate leaders survive in a fiercely competitive tech ecosystem.
Scope
During my collaboration with Alchemist Accelerator, I spearheaded the launch of Horizon:4 (H:4), a new venture designed to bridge the gap between established corporations and emerging startups.
This engagement delivered a robust foundation of messaging, marketing assets, and a comprehensive launch strategy to position H:4 as a premier partner in corporate innovation.
Month 1: Messaging, Positioning, Pricing & Pitch Deck
Defined the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) by identifying key buyer personas, including senior leaders in innovation, growth, and technology adoption across H:4’s target corporate sectors.
Crafted a compelling positioning and messaging hierarchy to differentiate H:4 as an indispensable partner in corporate innovation, leveraging AlchemistX’s global network and expertise.
Validated a pricing strategy for multiple engagement tiers, ensuring alignment with client needs and reinforcing H:4’s value proposition.
Designed a persuasive and visually engaging pitch deck tailored to each persona, effectively showcasing H:4’s unique services and value.
Month 2: Marketing Site & Case Studies
Designed and developed a high-conversion landing page to highlight H:4’s service offerings, success stories, and the benefits of AlchemistX’s extensive network.
Authored two detailed case studies showcasing successful client engagements and tangible outcomes achieved through H:4’s collaboration with AlchemistX.
Hired, onboarded, and managed a design partner to bring to life the wireframes and other assets, ensuring visual appeal and brand consistency across landing pages and pitch deck.
Month 3: Launch Assets and Plan
Developed a multi-channel launch strategy to drive awareness and generate dealflow, emphasizing the synergy between H:4 and AlchemistX.
Wrote two authoritative blog posts on corporate innovation trends, positioning H:4 as an industry thought leader.
Created a series of engaging social media posts for LinkedIn and X, targeting corporate innovation leaders and amplifying H:4’s value proposition.
Designed a dedicated outbound email sequence to reach prospective clients, highlighting H:4’s unique offerings and the strategic advantage of its partnership with AlchemistX.
This strategic engagement equipped H:4 with a clear market presence, compelling assets, and a launch strategy designed to generate sustained dealflow, positioning the venture for scalable growth and long-term success in the corporate innovation landscape.
